Kapsch TrafficCom to highlight transportation technologies at ITS World Congress
Kapsch TrafficCom is set to showcase a range of its latest transportation technologies at this year’s ITS World Congress in Atlanta, Georgia.
The Kapsch team will demonstrate real-world traffic operations’ solutions enabled by ITS and CV technology that are critical for agencies to reduce congestion and improve safety.
Kapsch TrafficCom will highlight expertise in traffic data analytics and management with a number of solutions and tech demonstration at booth #522.
Among the projects highlighted are the Gwinnett County Smart Corridor Program, the Pinellas Smart Community Project, breakthroughs in V2X tolling technology, and advanced highway traffic management.
Following the company’s launch of V2X tolling business for North America, Kapsch experts will be on-hand to share insights from their technical whitepaper, findings from recent testing and development and opportunities to drive the future of tolling through connected vehicle technology.

On Monday, August 25 at 8am, Lauri Brady will be a speaker in session SIS29 – Advancing CCAM Deployment: Augmented Physical, Digital, and Communication Infrastructure for Smart Mobility. The session that explores global test results and practical strategies for deploying CCAM-ready infrastructure using AI, Big Data, and HD mapping to enhance safety, efficiency, and sustainability. The session will be in room A301.
On Tuesday, August 26th, Aafiya Shah will join PS19 (Traffic Flow Control), where she and fellow experts will present cutting-edge approaches to multimodal mobility, including Virginia’s RM3P initiative and advanced traffic analysis techniques.
Later that day, Richard Lax will appear in STS07 (Live Enactment of Future Mobility: An Immersive Experience in Truly Cooperative Transportation), an interactive session organized by ERTICO-ITS Europe that brings V2X interoperability to life through live demonstrations and expert insights into the regulatory and technical foundations of cooperative mobility.
